The studio is aimed at creating statues – figurative and non-figurative, exterior and interior from long lasting materials. In the studio we do not teach what is nowadays understood as conceptual or multimedial art. The intention of management of the studio is taking advantage of impulses originating in subconsciousness in combination with outer inspirational resources to art demonstration on surfice or in space.

Qualification for study should be ability to draw and express your thoughts and imaginations.

Experience with sculptural materials is not required. The intention of management of the studio is to strenghten craftwork of students and evoke atmosphere leading to creating independent productive thinking at the end of which should be a sculpture. The studio management welcome sudents with ability to produce definitive work of art on surface. However the ability to create an object in space is necessary.

Actually, the most valuable quality si imagination, sense of material, enthusiasm and hard working.

First two years of study are concentrated on preparation and development of sense of shape with the help of study drawing and modelation. These two years should also serve to getting information about past and present art and architecture. During this period students also deal with sculpture tasks.

After this period, and evaluation of the nature and skills of students it is possible to work on both individual program and particular tasks. The fifth year should be free, and it should be taken as praparation for a diploma work, which is the aim of th sixth year.

The diploma work should be a project of a sculpture to concrete space, its ideological preparation, design, model and realization in matarial. This preparation counts with using computer programmes, which enable proffesional transmission of a sculpture form virtual world into reality and preparing details for evaluation and realization.

Graduate´s ability to produce computer outputs is necessary for their competitive advantage in the branch. Cooperation with architects and knowledge of architecture development is ideal. Studio management deeply believes that a sculpture has its unsubstitutalble place in the whole scale of art work, it is an important carrier of important message despite of contemporary fashions, which do not favour sculptures. It is necessary to bring up new sculptors who will be able to enrich living space of people with theris sculptures.
